Acting President
Yemi Osinbajo yesterday joined other world leaders for the G7 summit holding in
Italy.
G7 member states
are Italy, France, Canada, Germany, Japan, United Kingdom, United States and the
European Union.
Osinbajo’s
spokesman, Laolu Akande, said via Twitter that he left Nigeria in the early
hours of yesterday. Akande said Osinbajo attended the 43rd summit of the G7
based on an invitation extended to him.
Also invited to
the summit are Hailemariam Desailegn of Ethiopia, Uhuru Kenyatta of Kenya and
Beji Essebsi of Tunisia.
